Key dates and information so far:-
May/June 2010 - consultation stated with enquiries sent to interested parties such as local flying clubs. This included the co-ordinates for the proposed turbines which we used to draw the map below.
July 2010 - Planning application submitted to Selby District Council for a test mast.
24 August 2010 - Test mast approved. The Councillor for Cridling Stubbs expressed concern on behalf of residents and other Councillors were clearly reluctant to support the plan but in the end they voted it through. The planning officer told the meeting that the application was for a test mast and that the fact that this was a first stage of planning a wind farm was not relevant.
2 November 2010- Presentation of proposals by the developer. Campaign group set up to oppose the proposal.
22 December 2010- Application submitted to Selby District Council
